Ahh, but at least you\'ll be safe from second hand smoke.

More and more Dennis Leary is correct - \"The Future is a fat guy in a robe with a brocolli shake singing I wish I were an Oscar Myer Weiner\"

I would have thought his \"Whats the law now? You can only smoke in your appartment, under a blanket with all the lights out?\" would have been better :D

Here in California the whole no smoking thing is getting ridiculous. I HATE smoking............BUT I think this whole \'mommy-state\' thing is absurd/offensive and a bit scary. Incremental ism.... Now they are starting to go after fat in foods. Seems silly now but do-gooders like these can really wreck the fun in a serious way.

yeah, but in CA its the community that defines how freakish it gets. in santa cruz, for example, there are plenty of bars where you can smoke to your hearts content (or failure). hell in many places here you wont even be hassled for smoking bud. on the other hand lots of places (like SLO) will pat you down for doing legal activities. it varies across the state so widely that you cant really say its one way or another. from my perspective those laws exist so that the communities that are interested in regulating those activities have legal recouse, and those that dont care, dont enforce those laws. my friend grows pot legally, and smokes like a chimney at bars, and no one says a word because they could care less. if you want to party, move to a party town, until then realize that its the douchbags in the immediate vicinity that are lame.

seems like the same phenominon is occuring at that concert. not one concert goes complained, just some tool who cant relate.

actually i\'d rather they went after fat than smoking.

there are a ton of large companies passing shit as food. they need to be held accountable is some fashion much like food sold with salmonella in it.

i\'m not talking creampuff deserts with fat in it. thats how it\'s suposed to be and you expect it to be in it. i\'m talking FAT shoved into a meat product to fill it up cheaply. it\'s so widespread you can\'t avoid it if you eat out.

have you seen how much fat is in a MacDs salad? little bitches can\'t even spring for low fat mayo.

I support this sort of thing.

Seriously, before I get mugged, smoking bans in public are very reasonable. If, for example, you choose to consume a Big Mac with a side of large fries while sitting next to me, that doesn\'t affect me at all. (well, I might get hungry, but that\'s aside the point). If you light up, the smoke doesn\'t stay put! I either have to get up and move faaaaar away or endure the disgusting smell and risk my health. Smoke doesn\'t stay put!

Still think second-hand smoke \"isn\'t really that bad for you\"? Read the literature and pull your head out of the sand, \'cause you\'re kidding yourself. And tell it to the non-smoking spouses of smokers I\'ve taken care of with lung cancer.

I woulndn\'t give a rat\'s a$$ if this same slob wants to shoot up next to me... as long as he\'s careful with his needles. Chew your tobaccy, sniff your snuff, whatever. But keep your smoking to yourself!
