Good clean paint!

I think it could *maybe* use another layer of highlighting.

You've got good blends, and the metallics look decent.

The 'redux' version does seem to work better, that battle scarred yellow really adds.

Good job...I'll vote 7 on the first and 8 on the second.

I agree, more highlights especially on the teeth and skin, but try not to make the skin high light too bland, cos it's looking like it's going towards pastelly as it stands now.
the static grass on the first, what did you use to stick it? it looks flat and a bit naff.
use a good round globule of plastic glue then stack on the static, leave to stand fer a bit, remove excess, and leave too set.
then use a dry brush to @fluff@ the grass up, with or without colour on your brush,
Vooowala! tufty grass!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the comments and advice.

Also I think there is room to darken the recesses and very slightly lighten the highlights on his arms. I've got another coming along in a similar vain to this one, maybe I'll play with a blue wash on him before I try anything else.

None the less, thanks for the thoughts.

Also thanks for the tip on the grass. I just put think layer of glue on a couple of places flicked grass on and shook off the excess. I'll apply you method next time ;-)
