Hi! Not sure if this is the right spot for this, but here it goes.
I am a commission painter for several people. Most folks that I paint for send me their minis, I paint them, then ship them back. This one gentleman from Texas sent me Esmeralda, the White Witch (CMN0006) as part of a commission. After priming her, I realized that there is a deep lip/gouge that runs from her hair line, down her face, between her cleavage, and down the inside of one of her legs. It almost looks like someone bumped the mold while it was setting, except that there isn't a corresponding lip on the other side of her.
I offered to try and fix it, but explained to my customer that I couldn't guarantee the quality of the fix due to the extent of the damage. The gentleman asked me to paint the fig like there is nothing wrong, but I wanted to mention the quality issue to someone. I don't believe he will be making a complaint, but I thought Cool Mini should know.
Thanks!
