Badger vs. Otter...

Forget about werewolves and the like.
This is a far more important topic!!

Which would win if you made a badger and an otter fight to the death?

Badger all the way!

Or oppossums or racoons. Have some around here near my house and man those buggers sound mean! :)

A badger would nail a racoon easily!

I reckon the badger would struggle against the otter in an aquatic setting though.....

Perhaps we should allow the badger an aqualung to even up the odds?!

Badgers for sure,I\'d hate to be cornered by an angry/somewhat disillusioned Badger.Unless of course it\'s Badger from Wind in the Willows,I fear he\'s somewhat past his pitfighting days and would get soundly trounced by any of the WITW crew! (or any randon Otter!) :D

*Edit*--An Iron-Lung would be a definite boon for Badger! lol

I put my money on the South American Giant Otter. These bastards can grow to almost six feet in length, and weigh up to 70 pounds. They\'re not your average cuddly type....

i know someone who lost a finger to a badger. he thought it was dead and was gonna chuck it in the hedge. hardy bastards. although, as already mentioned, an aquatic setting would make it too close for me to call. give the otter a small blade or a hammer and then you\'re sorted!

Right ,,,,there used to be (and still probably is in small parts of the country) a little \"sport\" called badger baiting. In this sport wild badgers were caught and thrown in with fighting dogs and people would bet on the outcome.
Now to make things fair for the dogs, the badger would be blinded, have its legs broken and have some of its teeth removed.

And if that doesn\'t convince you this might.

Damn Klute that litle dude is pissed off. I would not want to mess with a Badger. The are mean little S.o.B.\'s.

This remind\'s me of an incedent in a D&D game. The party (about 3rd level) was walking down a dark tunnel and heard sounds like cordaroy jeans rubbing together and some scratching of claws on rock. We proceded with caution, once we saw that it was a badger the theif who happened to be in front screamed like a little girl and proceded to run as fast as he could in the other direction. The rest of us howled with laughter with the DM the loudest of all.

Okay, that\'s gotta do it. As cool as badgers are, they would never get that unconcernedly close to a crocodile. :)

But surely you can tell by those Otters body language they are just shitting thier pants. That crocs just eyeing up which one to have for dinner cos its quite obvious the other one will run like the wind when he turns.

Now the badger would be there saying\"Hoy Mr crocodile,I hope youve got my protection money this week or Im gonna pull four f***ing head off.\"

And anyway everyone knows the dinosuars became extinct becuase of an angry badger.Even those big nasty T rex buggers.

@ MarkusTay

My thoughts exectly, those guys start throwing in a South American Giant Otter as a ringer, Mr Badge is surely gonna call his manager and get a wolverine as substitute.... big money on that fight! Put my bucks on the wolverine!

Hahahaha!

Terry Nutkins! I remember him! He had an otter as a pet - don\'t remember it chewing off his fingers though. How amusing!!

Those six foot otters are ugly bastards. And they\'re not indiginous to these shores, so they can F*** off if they think they\'re gonna interfere with my badgers rumble! Bloody ringers.....

Anyone ever read \'Brock the Badger\'?? You just know that that loser Tarka would get it\'s arse kicked by Bloody Bill Brock!!

Right, time to release a \'Bottom Otter\' back into the wild..........:D
