I bought the following sculpt with every intention of getting it, and a few others, cast for a small line of barbarian miniatures. However, the plan did not come to fruition and I don\'t know when or if it will - and I would like to see this figure cast and made available, so I am offering it up for sale on Ebay.
As you can see in the second picture, there a few things that need to be fixed (I know, I should have sent it back to the sculptor):
1) There is a fingerprint on the kilt - I don\'t know if this would show up in casting, but I would think a thin layer of putty would take care of it.
2) Between the shield and arm is a blob of putty that needs to go - perhaps the shield can be cut away and then another strap sculpted after removing it?
3) The hand holding the shield has a finger that needs a hole filled and smoothed where the armature must have been cut.
4) I have been told it needs to be cut for casting as well.
I only have limited skills with green stuff and am not comfortable with trying these fixes myself. Accordingly, I do not expect to get the same price I bought it for. I paid $250 for it, and the price asked hopefully takes into account the work needed.
