Hey Everyone,

This is a new mini a painted while I had some time off from classes. Constructive critiques are always welcome :)

He looks really good. The shadows of his muscles are a bit too harsh but the rest is really nice.

Overall he looks real nice, the teeth stand out well and lend a nice air of concentration to his look. Maybe a bit dark on the chest muscles as mentioned, but the knee highlights are nicely feathered.

From the look of the model, I'm guessing he's about to take a swing at the zombie coming out of the ground. First thing I will say is the zombie arm looks pretty fresh and it looks like it's coming out of rock versus earth. Maybe a slight disconnect on your intention versus the base work.

I applaud the green loin cloth as trying to add some color to a muted palette paint job, but maybe it's a tad bright?

Nice NMM on the axe blade.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes the skin shadows are drastic. I have trouble deciding when enough shadow is enough shadow. No NMM just metallics painted to look like NMM, and all layers, no feathering. Feathering is a technique I am planning to try at some point.

As always I am working on smooth painting but there is some issues with control when using dilute paint. The paint is not coming off of my brush correctly. I think it is because the bristles are too dry but I am not really sure.
