Base for Trygon Tyranid

Sooo,

I got me a nice Forgeworld Tyranid Trygon, and after a (long) time gluing spikes everywhere, I am about to start the paint job.
But I gots me to thinking, what base am I going to sit him on?
I have the Alien Temple 120mm base...and...um...oh, that's it really.
I started looking at bases for miniatures, and FELL OVER when I saw how many there were. I swear it was only a couple of years ago I was struggling to find any bases that weren't just bare plastic..
So instead of trawling through 1,000 amazingly well painted bases, trying to work out what one to use, I thought I'd ask you fine gents.
Now I am NOT a gamer, I bought this guy because he looks cool, not to place in my carefully constructed 1,000 point army, or whatever the hell it is the young folk are doing.
That means the base should be fantasy themed, to fit in with my other dragons and demons, not Sci-Fi themed.
the problem is, most largish bases have detail that may well not allow my Trygon to sit flat, so hopefully someone has already found the base that fits the particular footprint of the Forgeworld model.
And NO I won't build my own, as I suck at it. Yes I know it's easy, but I prefer just to paint someone else's creativity.
Any suggestions, most welcome.

building your own might be the best way, Skelettes is the chap i'd go to if i was having basing problems, he's usually found lurking in the bowels of the wip's forums and kicks butt in the base department.

100mm, or 120mm.
Or larger I guess...
But having actually dealt with this model would help tremendously

Hi Yxalitis, not put together the Trygon myself but I keep hearing good things about DragonForge, shame Jeff doesn't seem to post here any more, they have some 120mm rounds...

Lost Empires round, they also do an oval at 120mm x 90mm. I think he'd sit on those, given the raised detail is just along the back edge? Other big ones in the different series too...

If you end up going for a blank base, or plain flagstones (or using an old CD) you could dress it with the diorama detail set, so that you can arrange the pieces around the model to your taste. Once they're glued on it's pretty much like a pre-made base rather than one you've had to make yourself

No big bases jumping out at me from the site but I'm pretty sure their adverts make a deal of the fact that they'll custom build whatever you're after. Anyhow, they seemed worth mentioning given they're at your end of the world

Why that's just some excellent info, thanks!
The Forgeworld resin and casting is top notch, I have read old forum posts decrying their quality (or lack there-of), but they must have improved a lot since then, the detail, accuracy, fit, and finish are all some of the best I've seen in resin.

Oh, it's Forgeworld all right, they must have stopped production.
I wouldn't touch GW plastic crap with a barge pole

The Forgeworld resin and casting is top notch, I have read old forum posts decrying their quality (or lack there-of), but they must have improved a lot since then, the detail, accuracy, fit, and finish are all some of the best I've seen in resin.

That then, is a rarity.
Forgeworld stuff suffers from lots of faults, the most recent Eldar Titan I'm working on being one of the worst things I've seen.
Moulding lines 3-5mm (filling and sanding patience required), A Thumbprint (FFS!) , Warped pieces, bad fit, even worse some of it is so badly designed its a complete pain in the Rear.
