Bases and casualties / bones

I've recently started painting miniatures again after about a 10 year hiatus. I've already learned some new stuff from looking through these forums, especially related to creating bases. I never messed with bases when I was a kid, just focused on the models themselves. I'm starting to get into it now, though, and learning about where to find useful materials. The one thing I'm having the hardest time finding is bone bits and casualties. For example, if I wanted to incorporate a skeleton, skull, ribcage, etc. into my model, does anyone have a relatively inexpensive resource they've come up with for getting these parts in the correct scale? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sterilized owl pellets on e-bay are apparaently the best source of tiny bones. You should also be able to find some cheap skeleton minis on e-bay or at the local game store.
