I've a hankering to paint up the Dark Knight.

I seem to recall Andrea or Pegaso did a 'Not-Batman' a while back, but can't find it.

Any ideas?

Plus, any Batman recommendations would be cool...

DOH! I was so excited I found the mini, I failed to read the following:
We regret that this product is no-longer available. Our current product range can be found at www.anticsonline.co.uk
Apologies for creating false hope.

Oh, no worries, I love a good challenge!!

Plus, there are plenty of other retailers, and the tried and true Ebay at my beck and call.

Word of Warning the Andrea is a bitch to stick together, expect a fair bit of pinning and join filling especially on the cape.
Of course I fancy a crack at painting this one:

but at £80 I think Fran would have a Sh*tFit.

I wholeheartedly endorse the Heroclix route... it's what I did and not to brag but I think it's one of my better paint jobs. I even had an extra of the figure (from Free Comic Book day one year, IIRC) but I think it went into a mini exchange at some point.

There is also the dc figurine collection from eaglemoss I'm pretty sure baton was the first issue but they also have a wide range of the more obscure characters than the clix range have and at a bit.larger scale without breaking the bank either there was also a ser) ies of batman gashapon (candy models)that came out a few years back bandai did that series they had some real nice dynamic poses your beat bet to find those hey are roughly three inches tall but this one might be a bit bigger because of the pose http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=310251695279&index=6&nav=SEARCH&nid=33301106379
no idea if it is one piece figure though most of the ones i've got clip together like kinder egg toys. Some may need a lot of prep work if this is the cases they aren't. Always designed to conceal joins and can often have quite.prominent gaps
