Hey folks, this is my first post. After years of checking out all the cool stuff on CMON I was finally prompted to register because my tracker says that Grindhouse is getting oodles of hits from this thread. Love it!

Since Gretel tops the list of offenders, I thought I might just take a moment to tell you that she was designed by a WOMAN: Tears of Envy. She was much more risque in Tammy\'s early art
. She was riding a man in a bunny mask wearing nothing but a thong. Tell me that ain\'t about keeping the fairer sex on top!!!
Come on people, Gretel is wearing significantly more than Wonder Woman.
My 9 year old daughter, who has had her renditions of scantily clad super-heroines (plus a Braniac collage) published in 5 consecutive issues of DC Comics Legion of Super Heroes says:
\"Daddy, Gretel is evil right?\"
Me: \"no sweetheart, she is a strong woman who is doing what she thinks is right. She disdains the notion that men are somehow better or stronger than women and she flaunts her own strength and resolve.\"
Her: \"she\'s pretty tough. I want to be Gretel... \"
Me: \"Wouldn\'t you rather be Saturn Girl?\"
Her: \"No, I like Lightning Lad like she does but I\'d rather be Phantom Girl.\"
Anyway, not sure where this is going...
I live in a big house full of glass and run a big architecture firm full of lots of very willful women. My home is ruled by my wife and daughter. My son and I exist in their shade
