I got some grating: grided sanding paper my dad was using for renovations upstairs. It\'s always nice when you find things you\'re looking for just around the house.

For the base, while the Necron eyes in the pipes is a nice idea you\'ve already said that the other ones won\'t have them? Instead you could mount one/some of the rats at the back of the pipe/s. Light it from the rear to silhouette them more strongly if you peer into the pipe, or paint in glowy effects for radioactive rats, maybe just their tails? Because they can only be seen from one angle perhaps you could cut a rat in half, shave out the innards to leave as thin a shell as possible & then paint with thin inks, get it to glow? B.

Shadzar is now banned from coolminiornot
Following a number of previous issues, complaints and moderator discussions me and Dragonsreach decided to issue a final warning to Shadzar yesterday. The result was that he hijacked this thread and launched severe personal attacks on Dragonsreach and several other forum members. I think the post sat a new low on this forum and has thus edited out the off-topic rant.
Shadzar, if you\'re reading this I think you have been very helpful at times, fun at others and sometimes the well needed voice of dissent. However, the kind of attitudes you have displayed on numerous occasions cannot and will not be accepted on this forum, or dare I say, any other. Therefore I had no other option then to ban you from coolminiornot as a result of this most recent post, but following what you said you were going anyway. Personally I am both sad and a bit relieved.

Well, returning to the diorama, heres the pictures of the grating I made:

Updates on this are going to be slower now that I have the Rackham wip to work on. Since that is sort of a community effort I want to do the best I can on that which means I\'ll be putting more time into it. I will still be finishing this though! Don\'t worry!

I really like the idea of the grates, but prehaps moving the broken off bit to the bottom of the pipe and the less damaged bits to the top. The reason for this would be because the bottom would recieve (bad sp...) more corrosion, because if the rest of the water level was low, this is where the water would flow (if you understand any of that lol)

I made it broken at the top because thats where the necron will be pushing through.
