Everything is really cool..untill we get to them Paper clip legs and then the whole model falls apart.. bad bad mistake in my opinion.

Love the reds though.

i am afraid i agree, the painting is great, its just those legs, they would be such a weak point in a combat situation its just not believable, and they dont look right imo. still as i say great colour scheme and paintjob :D

i completely agree, it was a test model when i was trying to see how long the lower legs should be for a big project...... left me with this guy with his paperclip-esk legs.

have your thought about using wires on it. kind of like c-3po in the phantom menace. then attach a few pieces of plasticard for broken armour and go from there.

just an idea.

I thought he just forgot his shoes, or maybe its hot and he\'s wearing shorts. Still the paints nice. Did the vote thing.

not sure DFD i like the spindly lower legs (not as spindly as the first pic though)
i don\'t want to do heavy lower legs because i wanted to to be tau and not classic mecha if that makes any sense. anyhooooo thanks for all the input guys/gals

lovely colorscheme looks good with the battle damege too. Legs look better now but you could thicken them up just a bit more without it getting to heavy

I like them, they look like air shook suspension to me which would make sense with the pose. Due to it being dynamic, also with the shield it ties in making it look like a sort of fast reaction up grade of some sort. :D

love the tau suits and am doing a couple more, just playing with conversions of the lower legs

prefere this type.
the idea is to produce a suit much bigger than the standard one and use it as the hammerhead......sounds mad i know but i would love a mech army with three big uber-suits with huuuuuugggggeeee guns. ;)
with proportions similar to this earlier one

this is really cool, legs look better than the other one , you would draw a lot of attension by fielding this guy as a tank.
