Hi All, Happy Thanksgiving. I have posted a few times in here, but have never hung around long enough for anything to stick. I lurk in a lot of you guys blogs often, so I decided to try again and really stick to posting here. I consider myself a B painter, maybe less compared to a lot of you geniuses. I go for things I generally can't pull off because I have no formal training so I'm just guessing or copying. Any constructive criticism is most welcomed:)

My current love of painting minis is those dang tiny Infinity models and I'm currently filling out my Nomads army, in particular a squad of Mobile Brigada. I've already painted the red and pink version, now I'm onto the purple one. I've already made considerable progress here the top half is almost done save for little corrections here and there...

Well that's enough spam. Any pointers going forward is most welcome. Cheers everyone:) Happy Holidays

Hi Bebop. Every well painted Infinity mini makes me want to get a few, and yours is certainly no exception.

It's all looking really smooth and well gradiented and I love the stark highlights on the purple.

Keep them coming!

Thanks very much Fox. :) Infinity models sure are some lovely sculpts if you are into that kind of thing!

Ive made some more progress today and in the spirit of CONTINUING this plog, ill upload a couple pics:) Really trying to dial in that hard reflective armor look. Nearing the end of this angle, i made some progress on the front too but there are some key spots that need to be finished before i post. Anywho, any critiques are really appreciated. Thanks fellows and happy holidays if you celebrate:)

Hi everyone. I just yesterday finished the above model. Im pretty happy with it, less happy about the pictures...i seem to have trouble gauging what the best range to shoot the model is. As far as the "Glossy" look, im not mad at it. Some parts i think are better than others, patience being a factor in some of the angles. Any pointers on how to strengthen my technique here would be super helpful! Thanks everyone <3

Nice :) I like how you've used the spots of bright green tied to the green Base. I find it draws my eye across the miniature. (I 'm researching colour theory atm so I'm all over learning from people's palettes!)

A thought - the green bits on the guns - if they are "glowing" parts would they benefit from a bit of the mid tone green on the underside of the green bit? I'm not sure, just a thought

Looking forward to seeing your next project
