Been working on this Slaughterpriest for a while now. I did not want to do the every Khorne red and bronze paint scheme so I decided to do bone armor instead. This is my first time working with a lot of skin, I have really only painted tau and threw a quick paint job on a unit of beastmen, so I am looking for opinions there. All thats left to do is the skull on his back and under his foot as well as the inside of his cape (thinking white but don't know what to do lol)

Thanks for taking a look and for any comments!

Hi jmer!

The flesh on your slaughterpriest looks really good! You've nailed that sort of distressed muscly tone that suits Khorne really well.
White for the inside of the loincloth sounds like a good idea, it'll tie it back in to the armour.

My only advice might be to put some starker edge highlights on the armour and loincloth, just to try and stop some of the elements on the lower half blurring together, though this might just be a lighting issue on the picture.

Looking forward to seeing more!

Hiya Fox

Thanks for the input! I was thinking about some edge highlighting on the cloth in orange but dont know what I would edge highlight on the armor. Just white?

I would go with off-white for the armour, then pure white for just the sharpest corners. Top point of the knee guards and tips of the feet for example.

If you have a scarlet colour it would probably work best as a highlight on your loincloth, although orange would tie back in to your helmet. Really anything other than pink.
