Hi guys, been a while since I posted something. This is my entry for round one of Iron Painter 6 over at Wyrd minis, the theme for the round was \"The colour purple\", so I went with purple elements, and a Lovecraftian theme, as his prose was decidedly purple. The miniature is from Hasslefree, but with resculpted clothing, and the base is scratchbuilt and sculpted on one of Dragonforgedesigns excellent wooden plinths.

C&C very welcome,

Good idea, well sculpted and painted. Were it mine, I\'d make the hole in the door deeper and differetiate the purple of the dress and the purple of the tentacles.

Thanks guys :)

Shawn, do you mean the space behind the door frame itself? Because I made that as deep as I could, or do you mean the indent on the mini\'s right hand side? That was meant to show where the lock had been forced and broken as the door got splintered. I did try to differentiate the two purples, and it\'s more apparent irl, but I do agree that they look a bit too similar.

Don\'t know what I was thinking when I posted about the depth of the door. Looks fine this morning.

Its good! One thing I noticed: If you make the purple black and the hair red, its totally Agent Scully. Agree?
