Belief-o-Matic! Where is your bread buttered? The completely unofficial pigeon-holing of beliefs

more reasonably (somewhat), there is no Mormon category.
Odd since it\'s apparently the fastest growing religion in the world (some would say Islam is...hey, where\'s Islam?)

Anyway, there was also no question of \"do you believe by being good during your life you will become a god?\"
- or more sucinctly, \"are you God?\"

2. Neo-Pagan (99%)
3. New Age (93%)

Geez, when will they understand, I\'m a Neo-Dualist...
I\'m certainly not any New-age freak, anyway:p

Maybe we should start a Cool Mini church?

I hope my wife doesn\'t see my score, she is a Roman Catholic, destined to be the next Pope, but my RC score was my lowest at 16%. I scored high on Buddhism ( not surprising as I am a Buddhist) and Unitarian Universalism, (much the same as all you godless folks).

Trevor

Brushlicker and Freak!
1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (99%)
3. Liberal Quakers (89%)

Which probably accurately reflects my current stance of not having a clue...

It\'s not a very good test, it needs to be so much broader and not so confinded to monotheistic ideas and judeo-christian flavoured roooootz.

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (98%)
3. Liberal Quakers (97%)
4. Mahayana Buddhism (93%)
5. New Thought (90%)
6. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (88%)
7. Theravada Buddhism (88%)
8. Neo-Pagan (88%)
9. New Age (81%)
10. Scientology (75%)
11. Taoism (74%)
12. Hinduism (71%)
13. Bahá\'í Faith (70%)
14. Reform Judaism (68%)
15. Sikhism (61%)
16. Jainism (60%)
17. Secular Humanism (58%)
18. Orthodox Quaker (50%)
19. Nontheist (49%)
20. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (48%)
21. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (46%)
22. Orthodox Judaism (41%)
23. Jehovah\'s Witness (33%)
24. Islam (33%)
25. Seventh Day Adventist (26%)
26. Eastern Orthodox (24%)
27. Roman Catholic (24%)

Aww, kinda dissapointed about RC being so far down the list, although I dont mesh with the relegion itself - the priests are kinda hot in their tight little doggy collars and funny dresses and their aura of guilt born repression and use of pagan ceromonies make me get the giggles. :)

lollol
Buddha says, \"Say no to the ego...\"
Buddha says alternately: \" If you really need to have an ego, might as well be buddhist.\"

Judging from the result, many of us are brother of the faith, either united by universalism or neo-paganism...

 We should start our own religion

Now what should our god look like ???

An eight armed Paul Daniels wearing a cowboy hat made from yoda-skin with a small potato growing out of his right hip that has the face of a grinning Tom Cruise dripping wrongness and lies out of his mouth into a swirling black void beneath him. All the arms are holding paint brushes and fags, coffee mugs and tea cups and it constantly rains miniatures. With a black belt and holding a flag covered in smilies that reads: \'If you are still dry-brushing or using mettalic paints you should die of eye cancer - how dare you not do non metal metal - DIE!\'.

It looks like the quiz was bang on the money, with pretty much secular Humanism describing my philosophy, although the unitarian universalism (aka we really want to please everyone and pay heed to everyones beliefs) placed high, no surprise having read the descriptions.

Also a surprise was the mainline to liberal christian protestants ranking highly, seeing as how I would have to describe my religion as non-practicing Anglican.

I\'m amazed. the first time one of these quizes has been even close.

Just goes to show, sometimes the internet is a useful tool. :D

A horned goat on a skateboard (or would that count as nu-paganism?) with Coca-Cola written on its side. That\'s universal isn\'t it? That brand is everywhere!

And priests looking hot in their collars? Sweating like a paedophile springs to mind. Yuck! :innocent:
