Believe there were moon landings?

Can > worms maybe, but anyway.

If anyone doesn\'t believe there were successful manned missions to the moon, could you say why?

You all must understand that there were no moon landings, in fact space travel is not possible due to the puffer fish theory.
:drunk:

The puffer fish lives in the ocean, it cannot break the surface tension of the surface as it would explode. :drunk:

The same thing applies to people. We cannot break the \'surface\' of earth\'s atmosphere or we would explode. :drunk:

See, the Puffer Fish Theory explains all. :drunk:

PS: Highest use of the :drunk: emotes yet for me.

Like most conspiracy theories, its kind of a fun exercise to use alternate realities and far flung hypothesis to look at a few of these things.

But, when you boil it right down, you realize the simpliest answer is usually the truth.

There are folks that believe we never landed on the moon....and I have to admit, after watching a rather convincing documentary on telivision, I had my doubts.

But, I\'ve since researched the flawed science that was used for the documentary, and live as we know it still exists.

Okay, which three of yooz voted no and didn\'t pony up with reasons? Hm? Hm? Come on, don\'t be shy.

I could play the devils advocate as I am very interested in conspiracy theories and as such I have spent some time researching this. Or what are you after? The arguments or just to convert those that don\'t think we landed on the moon?

The idea that the moon landing (one of the single biggest/costliest engineering projects in human history) is one of the craziest fringe theories out there, and I\'m including things like Nazis and dinosaurs living inside the hollow Earth. It\'s kind of a balance between \"insanity/illogic of the theory\" and \"number of people who actually subscribe to it\".

Time Cube:
9.5 (very very crazy) x 1 (a lone nutbar) = 9.5

Moon landing = hoax:
7 (makes no sense) x ??? (there are actually a small community of them) = >100?

So, quite a shenanigan!

The \"conspiracy\" would have to involve the complete silence of thousands of NASA and DoD employees, until this day. This alone dooms its plausibility. But in addition, it boils down to this. Once you can launch a Saturn V into orbit, there\'s really no point in NOT going to the moon.

Wow NSA. In all seriousness, of course I believe we went to the moon... That is until I read your post. It was so darn convoluted that now I think maybe we didn\'t do it and perhaps there never really was a Saturn V rocket launch. It was all just a grand illusion.

Makes ya think. :drunk:

I hadn\'t. But I meant people who voted seriously.

If anyone here doesn\'t believe they were genuine I\'d like to know the reason(s) so we can have a look at them. Plus run a few things past them that maybe they didn\'t know.

Even as a child I wondered how they got pictures of the outside of the craft as they flew through space. Here\'s my take on it. They did go to the moon but they may have \"staged\" some footage to make it more dramatic and hold the publics attention. It would explain a lot of thigs. But I think most of the footage is real and only the outside shots of the craft as it flew were staged. Otherwise they would have been able to tell that crew who\'s ship was damaged exactly what was wrong instead of having to take so long to figure it out.

Well, if it\'s not true then my dad made a window frame for the lander in vain..........

I was about 8 when the landing happened and I can still remember looking forward to looking up at the moon and seeing the rocket and men walking around...............ahhh, the innocence of youth.
