Please ignore the text in the pic, yes it took first prize in The fang which is my local GW yearly painting comp but the reason its up there is because the picture is thousand times better than i ever could get it.... sad i know..
they had someone take the picture after the competition. enough about that and on to the mini.
i love Bohuns berzerkers, in fact so much that i bought a bunch of them myself, and then they just sat their raging on a shelf for a long time. along came a competition and i felt the urge to spill some blood, out came the bitz box and the 'zerkers...
this mini is a mix of several bitz and bobs as well as a lot of my own sculpting and creating, the paintjob is clearly based off of Bohuns amazing colours even though i could never even hope to get that good at painting, i tried and in comparison to his work, i failed, miserably.
i got first place in the competition against some really great stuff (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.165502400178811.43251.155246067871111 for those of you with facebook) and i was quite surprised to even be amongst the winners.
well hopefully you will enjoy my little narrative piece of miniature and please comment on it, criticism is what makes us better, if its constructive.
