I rarely drink, but I have several bottles of mjod/mead (brackett I think is another name) in my refrigerator - viking beer for my barbaric moods!

Now I\'ll have to explain myself....
I though of voting coctail, you know for all those exotic stuff like pina colata, sex on the beach, and all the fun stuff. But I don\'t really think you can call these alchool, since there\'s usually a pitifull amount of alcool and you don\'t even tast since the point of those drink is to drink alcool without noticing it. (Am I making sens ???)
So my vote goes to cider :D I just love it :p

I like gin and tonic. specifically Bombay Sapphire and Schweppes.
why?
1) it\'s not foamy and filling,
2) it\'s sweet,
3) it\'s clear and hangover friendly
4) and it glows a nice, eerie blue under a blacklight

Beer is fine (especially amber and darker, can\'t stand lagers, though), but my real alcohol of choice is rum. Pretty much any *good* rum (not that cheap Monarch crap). My favorite is Captain Morgan\'s Private Stock. Yummy! :flip:

Anything that doesn\'t really taste like alcohol is fine, alcopops and whisky with lots of cola. But I don\'t drink often anyway. My boyfriend doesn\'t like alcohol at all, so I mostly drink when he\'s not around.;)

Well, my favourite alcohol tends to change from time to time. It used to be beer, but after a run of bad nights, it is now cider. Beer will however probably feature again at some point in the not too distant future.

Scotch Wiskey, A good Rum, and my favorite mixed drink the Snakebite, it consists of Lime Juice and Yukon Jack. It will surely kill a few taste buds. Just don\'t get drunk on it alone, otherwise this will be you :l~

Question?: does anybody out there know what goes into a Banana Guerilla, I had it once, it was great, but have no memories as to where I got it from. Damn that barhopping. :D

I have never been able to understand beer. Sorry. I really want to like it because all of my friends like it and insist that there is a difference between one and another. I\'m sure they are right, but I\'m also sure it is an aquired taste. And I can\'t fathom making myself grow to like something that has no nutrative value at all. On top of that, it isn\'t even that good at doing what it is supposed to do best, get you drunk. What it really does best is get you fat.

Having said that, if you can make a good arguement for something I should try, I\'ll try it.

To date my favorite drink is Amoretto Sour. Because I don\'t like to taste the alcohol, and because I like lemonade. Oh yeah, and it get\'s me just exactly as messed up as I need to be.

So for me the Nancy-boy drinks are the best.

Well, right now its water - I\'m in a Dry Country in more ways than one. But when I do drink, its either Cider - apple or pear thank you very much - Rum - Bacardi and coke? why thank you very much - or the best beer ever made in Texas, SHINER BOCK, the beer of real men - just drink it fast or dont drink the last 1/3 of an inch or so in the glass when its warm. Wicked aftertaste.lol


And by the way, yes, when I started drinking Shiner, way back when God was in college, it was cheap cause it was a domestic local, not some fancy pants premium beer. (bout a dollar a pint as I recall from those alcohol shrouded days)

You\'d be suprised at what age people start drinking during partys ( or maybe not actually :p), but usually they don\'t have a favorit \'alcool\', they have a favorit drink with alcool and that dosn\'t tast like it at all because their not old anouth to like it :p And if I must confess I started drinking a 17 1/2 wich would make me a din linquent in the stat but perfectly legal in france ;) And I never got drunk ( and I\'m very carfull to keep that up because drunk people are just...sad).

I can count on my hands the number of times in my life I have been drunk. And I can guarantee you, not one time was sad.

Right now I\'ve got a whiskey mac on the go. Mix of Whiskey and green ginger wine. I\'m using JD coz I prefer that over scotch these days.
