Best Prices for Paints

Hey everyone!

I'd like to know if anyone knows great locations and/or sites that certain paints can be bought at for sale, bulk discounts, and/or low shipping costs. Hobby Lobby used to be helpful with their occasional 30% discount sales, but they've completely changed their line-up at my local store. Specifically I'm looking for:

Tamiya Grey Primer - It's hard for me to find locally, and shipping charges are annoying the heck out of me.

Vallejo Paints - Again not carried by any local game shops, and the only model shop that has any has a very incomplete range.

Dullcote - Okay, not technically a paint I suppose? Local shop is charging a bit extra since they're the only ones with it, and they're counting on people choosing the store over the additional shipping costs.

Of course if this is a completely idiotic request I fully expect and resign myself to the thread being closed and DR calling me an idiot.

I am not resigned to DR calling me an idiot (or other variations) otherwise, though I do expect it.

Hey there, I see you are in Montgomery. We just moved out of Prattville less than a month ago. You aren't going to find much locally and it's even sketchy to find much of anything short of Birmingham or Mobile for anything except the Dullcoat. Prattville's Hobby Lobby still carried dullcoat as of last month and if you sign up for Hobby Lobby's email bulletin they email you 40% off coupons which all Hobby Lobby's accept. I don't use Tamiya primer so I can't help there. But for Vallejo and even dullcoat the warstore http://www.thewarstore.com/ carries an excellent selection, with discount and fast shipping.

I can understand that.

Tempting. Very Tempting.
But it's not an idiotic request.
If you haven't got a good local Brick & mortar store then mail order and the hazards thereof are your best option. Sites and stores with good reputations abound and I have no doubt that there will be people willing to make recomendations. So if there is anyone else in your predicament they could benefit from this question as well.

<Smirk Mode> You could look to Coolminiornot's store for Vallejo paints of course </Smirk>
