Best Static Grass?

I\'ve been wanting to purchase some static grass online recently but I\'m not sure which one to get. Woodland Scenics seems pretty cheap but the quality doesn\'t look good (I\'m never seen it in real life but judging from the online pictures). Games Workshop\'s static grass looks good but is very expensive ($10 for 220 mL). Gale Force Nine also looks pretty good and I don\'t know about Noch. Which do you guys like/recommend? I\'m going for the bright summer green look like this:

noch products are realy good quality mate (and gw get a chunk of their materials from them!)

i got my from a local modeling shop. nice and cheap and of course seeing it irl help you choose the colour

I\'m pretty sure GW\'s grass is the same as Jarvis Countryside scenics. At least the summer grasses are the same, same amount you get, too. Only GW\'s is much more expensive.

I like gale force 9\'s stuff.

The Gale Force 9 stuff is pretty sweet. I\'ve also got some from Back To Base, and it\'s not half bad, but I don\'t know where he gets it from (it could very well be more GF9).

You know, I didn\'t much care for GF-9 stuff when they first started hitting the shelves. (Their styrene is a rip in particular) However, last month when I was in my FLGS, I saw their display had a really wide range of basing supplies. I think GF-9 has really hit the nail on the head with this stuff. Their grasses, in particular, come in a really wide variety of colors.

If I were you I would pick up a few different colors of GF-9 grass and maybe one or two colors of the fine powdery turf from Woodland Scenics. When you use these things in concert with each other you can come up with some REALLY good looking bases and scenery.

Most of the static grass I have is from Woodland Scenics. The giant bottles are a lot of grass, but the best thing is to get a group together to each buy 1 color to split.

I mix a few colors together to get variations in the color.

I hated the GW static grass (I think I threw it out) because I hate the bright red fibers in it.

Isn\'t this flock grass rather than static grass? Or are the terms interchangeable?

same thing mate, just called different things in different parts of the world.

knock wild grass and field grass is kick arse, just takes a little more work to get good results.

I\'ve got various colours in the squeezy containers for easy application.

You can mix \'n\' match \'em for added variation and authenticity plus the stuff lasts flippin\' ages as well...
