laphoaig 10 yr (scotch, single malt), it's rounder not as sharp as the older ones, with a distinctive oaky and peaty flavour, not as metallic as some equivalents. have sraight glass couple o drops of water makes it pop, no ice.

A man totally after my own heart and drinking it as it should be done, with just a couple of drops of water to release the flavour. Laphroaig Quarter Cask is nice too. Personal favourite is Ardbeg - the daddy of all Islay whiskys, but finding a bottle these days is rarer than the proverbial.
