Ditto. My brother will be pleased to keep an eye peeled also.
But Best Zombie Movie Ever is a pretty steep claim... are we talking better than Dawn Of The Dead (2004) or Return Of The Living Dead. Even the granddady of the modern zombie movie, Night Of The Living Dead is a pretty solid contender for some people.

But I\'ll second Einion\'s statement for best ever, the Dawn of the dead remake was awesome and the original Night of the living dead is just awesome.
I would put 28 days later up there but the whole \"rage\" virus comming from monkies forced to watch violent TV just buggered it up, other then that tho it\'s a fun watch. lol

Well it\'s not in the same league as the \'classics\' of zombidom. Since Fido is more of a black comedy then a horror movie. I\'m a big zombie fan and I really enjoyed Fido from beginning to end but it is a completely different kind of enjoyment then from watching say 28 Days Later or Dawn of the Dead.
Think of Fido more of a Shawn of the Dead 2, only funnier. :drunk:

Dawn of the Dead remake was pretty good....
Shawn of the Dead was great too..for a comedy side of zombies..

...well I\'m not sure if it really is \'zombies\' but Invasion Of The Body Snatchers, 1954 version is amazing.
I watched the remake, Invasion, the other day with Nicole Kidman, and had to watch original just to flush it out of my mind. Utter shite.
But I\'m not sure if emotionless aliens are actually zombies.
Then if not Night Of The Living Dead (original) is fantastic, when they find the skull in the cupboard (covered in jelly) it is just great.
I remember watching these two films (IOTBS and NoTLD) on a Black and White Horror Night on channel 4 when I was about 11, loved the movies ever since...

I can\'t believe I forgot Shawn of the Dead, simply awesome comedic spoof!
And I think mindless alien imposters is close enough to zombies to count and I\'ll agree invasion of the body snatches was awesome!
Just did a lil poke around the internet for World War Z that seems like it could be an awesome movie, thinking of pickin the book up.. anyone read it by chance? is it any good lol never read a zombie book before.

I don\'t think they were the \"source\" of the virus. They were just experimental subjects. Think \"Day of the Dead\" where the army is testing the zombies for ability to learn etc.
I thought the same about the re-make with Donald Sutherland. The original had far more going for it due to the \"paranioa\" of the era.
To be honest you can\'t really beat stuff made in the Fifties

Off the zombie topic...
But I felt the same about the manchurian candidate the original with Sinatra was amazing but the remake with Denzel while being all spiffed up looking was just lacking in too many ways.
