now letsee..... I was at this fair some years ago, when I stopped by a store manned by some french food importers. They were serving snails.... big, white ones on a dish. Anyways, to cut a long story short, I found myself at the front of the crowd around the store, and the er.... crowd refused to allow ppl to get out UNLESS they downed a snail.... (talk about spectator sport)

which was when I found out snails... had little flavour but were EXTREMELY slimey.....

Well based on what little experience i\'v had with snails ( Only ate snails 2 times) I\'d say that you got unlucjy with your snail tabithatan, they usualy harden up when you cook them and there\'s no slim left on them. Maybe you got the privilege of an uncooked snail Or maybe it was heavily dipped in butter sauce. yummmy

oh urk....... an UNCOOKED snail????? hmmmm could be likely since the ppl that made them cooked them REAL FAST!

I can only guess snails are kinda like octopus (they\'re both mollusks, right?). It\'s good when it\'s hot and fresh from the cook, but it just gets rubbery and ucky when cold. One of my friends in high school commented on my eating habits once: \"Chrispy, you\'ll eat anything that won\'t eat you first\".
