Well, i\'m finally up and running again! :|~

Thanks for the support guys, I really appreciate it!

@freakinacage: You\'re right, alcohol doesn\'t help solving these kind of problems! But the fact that i was drunk had more to do with the fact hat i\'d won all my games of darts and that we went partying afterwards! :innocent:

@Mosch:That must have been really hard! Don\'t delete your posts, it just shows that we all have these kind of experiences and that we are here to help one and another! If you want to talk about it then i\'m sure we could arrange a chat to do so!

@marineboy: Thanks Jerome! Good to hear that you had a great time in Holland even though you were here for sad reasons. What do you mean with the bases? Do you mean that you can make them? (which could be logical cause you told me you\'re a craftsman...) Must be the aftermath of the beer drinking that i\'m not catching on real fast!lol

@Klute: I know for all the recent \'not so funny\' things that have been going on here lately, that this community is still a warm and funloving place to be! That\'s probably why i\'ve done what i\'ve done!

Again thanks

Skrit I feel for you - I have only just seen this thread and now feel sad but also elated - what a great place CMON is where people can unburden themselves and get support from friends!

As has been said it gets better - both my parents died some time ago and the support of family and friends is so important!

i wish you well

Simon

Good you\'re up!

Good you\'re up and about again, Tim, get it all out of your system.

About the bases...yeah, I can make just about anything ...turned or square, single- or multi-part (as in a frame)...whqtever. I can make massive ebony bases up to about 40X40 mm in size, beyond that I\'ll have to start gluing iup the stock, and gluelines suck. In other woods I can do larger bases. I don\'t have any pics of bases I\'ve done, but I can post pics of some other small turned itmes (knobs and stuff). Let me know what you\'ll be needing!

Be talking to you later!

Yup. Its sure good to know when something is bugging a guy/gal, they can put it out there for their friends on these forums. One of the best places to be.
I think its hard to say anything that doesn\'t sound a bit trite, but for sure, you are not alone.
Had the same thing of seeing my best friend everywhere, even after he died years ago.
Its kinda natural we see these folks in someone else that reminds us of them. It just means they take up a big chunk of our brains and they are still here in that way I think. I mean I\'m nuts, but not in that way- so I don\'t think you lost it at all:cool:

Skrit, there is not much I can say other than I am sorry for your loss. Grieve. Weep. Get mad at God for a while even. Then remember all the good times and the love. You will here that it takes time...and as impossible as that sounds right now, it is true.

I\'ll keep you and Mosh in my prayers for a while.

airhead, I appreciate that, but my grandmother died some years ago. As long as I don\'t go into detail about her death or me discovering her, I can manage pretty well.... though I still miss her incredibly. She was a nurse when my mother gave birth to me, and the first person I ever saw.

Sorry. I\'m starting again. Thank you anyway.
