BF2142!

Didn\'t really play the BF and BF2 games, but BF2142 is EXELLENT!
I\'m totally hooked, made up 3 (nearly) 4 ranks on the 1st go lol
Anyone else played it?

BF 2142 is my kinda game. However BF2 didnt work on my comp so I dont have a chance with 2142. Hopefully if I get the uni course I want I\'ll be able to use thier computers to play it :twisted:

I can barely run it at low detail with a 2.4 GHz CPU/512MB RAM/256MB VRAM so don\'t feel bad.

I\'ve only played the demo so far, but it kind of annoys me. The \"Titan\" game type is fun, but infantry surviveability on the field is very low with so much armour and mechs running around. And you seem to move SOOOOOOOOO slowly as a foot soldier, I know you\'re supposed to be heavily armored but even sprint speed is often not even nearly fast enough to save your ass (or get anywhere w/o a vehicle). In conclusion, often fun but flawed.

Just played for 3 hours............died ALOT. Very cool. Fast loading and smooth game play. A rocket of a machine made a bit of a difference.

It\'s pretty up on real batlefield conditions actually
Best tactics if you see armour is to hide till it passes or spot it and call in support.
The roles are great too! I\'m a support person, but launching yourself in a pod at the titan is exellent fun!

Running anywhere but around towns...bad idea lol
