Yeah, fancied doing a tau army again but wanted a bigger mech. the idea was to use this as a hammerhead. this hasn\'t really changed since before christmas as i\'ve now diverted my attention on to its replacement :)

10hrs!!!! Yowza! Unfair!!! That\'s amazing. While I respect your work I feel it only fair to announce that I hate you.

10hrs. ten. I thought I was pretty quick at the limited things I do in the hobby but I cannot believe someone out there is capable of putting that together in 10 hrs. You\'re like Scotty from Star Trek!

I seriously expected an answer like 25hrs, and thought that would be a modest answer.

Unbelievable at any speed but ten hours is puke invoking!

Thats a really cool battlesuit.

Just a question what colour scheme you going for? Will it be like your earlier one?

lol, i had a rough idea before i started, sketched out. Once i\'d got the body/hip sorted it just sort of grew from there :)

hmmm, not sure about the colour. thinking of covering the plates in tau writing and symbols, ala Gundam style. not sure yet though.

impressive work but the small head, posture and sloping front makes it look a bit like a fat man tau... to me anyway.

but it\'s all too easy to overindulge over christmas :D

Daaang that\'s a cool model. Can\'t wait to see it painted, especially to EM standards :)

If you make another one, it would be superfantastic if you could take a few WIP shots and give a bit of info about what parts are being used and where. Most of it can be figured out by a Tau player like me, but some of it is hard to make out.

Thanks and once again, wow :D

LOL, i see what you mean, but to put a positive spin on it he is surveying the battlefield.

i like the tau markings idea fil. Would look really great over some superbly smooth EM painting. Though will there be weathering/battle damage etc?metallics or NMM?

a break down of what was done or possible WIP as jericho mentioned would be great.

Now that is freakin... awesome... Great idea and execution... the only thing which irritates me a bit is the small head... maybe you try not using him, would him make more like a battlwalker... but just my opinion... reminds me a lot on such concepts, which i really do like a lot...

Nah, sorry that has been the wrong one, but also says what i think about your work here^^

Incredible work there. I\'d love to know how you did some of that stuff, and what kinds of materials/techniques you used.

Jaw dropping.
