Had this one about a year now going to try to get him done real soon any constructive comments welcome.DD

beginning photos tring something different in shading muscles.

Well one thing is sure, you will learn how to paint flesh cause there aint much else. Is that a cigar in his mouth could be an op for OSL. Good luck.

Its a great model DD - i thinkthe head lends itself to the whole \'5 o\'clock shadow\' skinhead/unshaven effect which is popular at the moment.

Agree with the shading, the skin colour looks fine so wouldn\'t take any higher, but a shade would certainly hep define all those muscles.

Theres a fantastic and easy tutorial on 5 o\' clock shadowin the articles called \'Unshaved beard effect\' Which I would reccommend reading if you decide to do this.

i think the skin needs more depth, maybe add some blues/reds/purples or such to the shadows or simply some darker browny skin tones

the paint also looks very chalky(a kind of drybrushed look), maybe its the pics, more layers should help cure it if it isnt just the pics

the bright blue and red and gold make me think Heman for some reason

Im liking the skin at the mo perhaps a thin wash of ink to define the muscles?
