BIG chunk of sand coloured resin :-)

Hi folks...

Looking for some feedback on my latest (and biggest most time consuming) mini to date... a ForgeWorld Macharius Vanquisher heavy tank, done up in Tallarn desert cammo scheme.

This thing took about three months of work to complete, of which two and a half months seemed to be shading individual rivets until my eyes bled :)

Anyway, as always, looking for some hints, tips and advice to make the next one even better...

it\'s here:

Thanks all, oh, and thanks to Ben Komets for the advice on the weathering, gonna start tweaking that now :)

Cheers!!

nice work there. lovely weathering

Cheers dude, appreciate that... though, having seen the weathering on Ben Komet\'s GD Spain open entry at the weekend, I picked his brains and will be tweaking the weathering on the tank over the next few months I think :)

It is very well done! :) However my problem with it is that it is basically a big chunk of sand coloured resin... :) haha.. no but you could break up the surfaces even further. Say concentrating more weathering further down and picking out the freehand in darker colours. Also.. this is a bit hard to judge from the photos. But you could try also to bleach out the colour more where the sun hits the surface and give it more saturation where the surfaces are in shadow.

It is very hard to judge in picture though.
