Big figures

Hello to you all I am new here but I have a question.

I used to paint a lot of minis in my younger days but my eyes are getting weaker so it becomes hard for me to see them clearly.
So I was looking for something bigger and stumbled upon this figure.

(not my picture by the way)
I can buy this unpainted and it is an original no recast but I am curious if there is any info on this figure.
Hope you guys can help me....

I don't know about this figure, but I do a lot of large scale kits. They are all usually around 1/6 to 1/8 scale,.. which makes them roughly 8-10 inches tall each. I also don't know how you may feel about anime characters. But if you fancy larger models, check out www.e2046.com

It's a neat kit, though I'm not familiar with it. I know forgeworld did a large space marine a while back. It's 6 inches tall (150mm).

I paint mostly 54mm and 75mm kits, so slightly larger than gaming scale. There are some really nice options for fantasy and sci-fi figures in those scales. Of course larger figures (that are high quality sculpts/casts) will be more expensive than the gaming stuff, so expect to invest more money if you want big kits. I'm assuming you're looking more for sci-fi, so here are a couple more links...

Andrea's Dark Nova line has some nice 54 and 70mm kits:

Scale75 has a lot of cool stuff (75mm of course)

Michael Kontraros has started to release some really neat commercial figures. Most have been fantasy, but he did one 75mm sci-fi piece that's heavily inspired by 40K

Industria Mechanika does some neat steampunk and sci-fi stuff. It's a lot of vehicle kits, but there are figures too. Some are 54mm to go along with the vehicles, but they also have some really cool 1/8 scale and 1/6 scale kits. Check out the Black Moth figure in 1/8 scale section, he's in stock and on sale right now.

If you're looking for some large scale practice figures, check out Verlinden. They're not great, but they're cheap and big. Check around their site to see what else they have.

Thank you Bailey03 for the tips, they all look nice.
I certainly like scifi but I also like fantasy especially dwarfs ,this might explain my name.
I did have a quick look at the companies and saw some really cool looking figures.
Think that I will have a sleepless night coming having to look true all these figures.
