You worked out how to host images then? Good stuff!

The bases look fine to me. I\'m assuming you will add sand and gravel to it later and that it\'s some sort of cityfight base.

For gaming I have to say that I prefer using cavalry bases (you can also order oval bases online which are pretty funky) because they make it easier to get models where you want them. If you intend to game with it it is something worth considering.

Is that the base that GW supply with bikes now? If it is my cavalry mounted bikers are no longer legal in tournaments and I\'ll need to stick em all on those monsters.

yer i finely did it.

1) no i wont really be useing it for gaming and if i do im going to put my over bikes on the normal wons.

2)yer i will be puting sand on there and no its not city fight stuff, the slabs of concret are made out of clay, and the metal beem with barbed wire is some F.W sprue bits that i made to look like that.

thanks for your coments....stuart....

looks good I like seeing stuff like this in it\'s early stages gives an idea what materials people use.. look forward to seeing progress.

What will you be texturing the rest with???

I\'ve just started using Vallejo textured pastes to construct my bases and have to say I am totally in love ...allows me to build up crazy stacks of slate and glue sand and bits and pieces all at the same time great stuff.... whatever you use aoid having the jump from rock to flat base.. Give the pieces that sort of sunken in look rather than floating on top of the ground....

I like it, definately my type of base. One thing I see of out of place is the pistol on the fork, kind of hard to get to. I usually stick mine on top of that skull on the gas tank at an angle, works pretty well for me that way. Also you should maybe build up some more rubble around that beam since it looks a bit isolated. Keep updating this!!! I will be looking at this thread very aggressively since I am doing a lot of bikes right now...

Thanks!!!! :( I am so glad to hear my work inspired someone. This makes posting minis here in CMoN all worth it.

As far as the Vallejo paste, if you are in the US you can order it through any Hobby Shop that carries Vallejo brand products. If you are willing to pay some shipping (cheap too) you can go to Battlewagon Bits and order some through them. They have different textures there too if you want some variety. In the UK I have no clue how to get it so Rob (Demonherald) should be able to help anyone interested from the UK. ;)

You could turn the big pole inwards so it bends over the bike instead of away from it, this would make everything more \'streamlined\' and constantly draw the eye inwards towards the main section of the model.
