Not positive but I think those are simple eyes. Spiders have a bunch of them.

Your insect is an Acrosternum hilare aka green shield or stink bug and those red dots are simple eyes. We have very similar species over here but not quite as big I don\'t think. be careful it doesn\'t spray you, they really live up to their name

No idea what the spider is though.

lol of all the times seen those beetles ive never had one spray and ive even picked them up to put them outside (such is the case of what happened to this on)

it tastes absolutely foul. all they need to do is scrabble over a raspeberry or some suck lovely fruit and you get a mouthful of horribleness. it\'s usually the last one as well so you don\'t have something nice to washi it down with
