easy to use. use something like pirate bay or mininova. don\'t go to any small fry sites(viruses!!). your comp should automatically defult to is. but if you want too download quickly you have to have a very good connection, also use something instead like:
http://www.utorrent.com/
much better(and you can get skins if your clever like me!!:bouncy:!!)
and questions ask me:D

Yuck! Limewires pretty awful.

I run uTorrent, but I suppose its the same as BitTorrent.

Basically just type into google whatever you want to download and put \"torrent\" at the end of it, look at the sites and there should be something like \"download this torrent\" button, click on it then click open with... BitTorrent. BitTorrent should open and start downloading.

A few hints:
Start downloading a few of the same torrents (from different sites), then see which one is going the quickest and delete the others

Torrent sharers are designed so the more you upload, the higher your download cap, so don\'t lower your upload limit to something tiny or your download limit will follow

Plus there is loads of legal downloads which use a bittorrent, you don\'t have to use it just for pirated material.
I use Vuze and download loads of legal music videos and documentary clips etc through it. (It\'s built onto the Azureus client)

Try and get a torrent with loads of seeds and peers, the less it has the slower the download (in most cases)

www.torrentspy.com and
www.thepiratebay.org and good sites, and www.demonoid.com used to be the dogs bollocks but they have had to shut down for a while.

One of my gaming group uses bittorrent and swears by it.
I, personally, couldn\'t say how to get about downloading from it, though.

Things to know about torrents

1. Use uTorrent. It\'s faster and is kept well maintained.

2. Seeds = sources

3. They work the same way as limewire except you have to go to a site like piratebay to search for files.

4. Look at the file contents. If it\'s a zip or rar with a note saying \"password\" or \"read me\" don\'t bother. Thery\'re always spammy crap.

5. If you download any programs, run a virus checker on the files just to be safe.

6. Be prepared to lose most of your HD space with junk!:D

7. Buy legal copies of the stuff you like. :p

Seriously. Previewing a product is important because of all the rampant waste material out there, but the vast majority of musicians and programmers put in a lot of time into their projects and make very, very little in return.

What\'s hot will not only already selling well, but there is way more of a chance that you can find it on limewire because it is in demand! I can\'t find a lot of old blues stuff because it is fairly obscure and not in demand by the majority of downloaders. Point being downloading music only hurts the major artists because the lesser known artists aren\'t even on there!

Have never got on with Limewire but I use BitComet frequently. If you want to download movies then I recommend that you search for torrents by \'Axxo\'. He usually gets them online as soon as the DVDs are out in the US (which is great for me, because that means it\'s probably still on at the cinema here in the UK), they have a good balance of size and quality and they download really fast. With my 10 meg BB I can usually have an Axxo movie downloaded in an hour or two.

Avoid stuff that is just out at the cinema until you get used to recognising who posts up reliable and good quality copies. It\'s probably going to be a dreadful hand-held recording from the back of a cinema otherwise.

Oh, and I downloaded the new Ork Codex the other day, which isn\'t even out until Christmas, in a minute and a half. If you are in anyway a fan of greenskins you must do this. It seems that GW have rewarded Ork players who suffered using a really crappy (rules wise) force with an absolutely stunning set of rules. They can totally kick it with any other army now and still maintain Orkyness at the same time! Weeeeeeee!

Sorry, a little off topic, but I\'m very excited by it!

Tried Limewire and thought it was utter shit.

I use a program called DC++ loads of servers with thousands of users, onyl problem some servers have a share limit before they let you download, but managed to find anything and everything with that program
