Black/Brown lining

Hey all,

For those that use the black lining technique, do you use washes/inks or simply black paint?

when I use it, than black paint.
An no, not because of different consistency. Most washes are too transparent for my taste for this and I don't want to do it multipe times.

also lately I use the "tamiya panel liner" paint a lot. It's an enamel based paint that can be easily cleant up with white spirit or similar product. Makes pin-washes on airplane/space ship models very easy.
