Black Legion Chaos Space Marines

Hi there,

as i am having a comission work about some Black Legion Chaos Space Marines on my desk this month i will post those finished things in here... Nothing really special, rusty and dirty Chaos Space Marines for the gaming table...

Starts with a rhino, which will be followed soon by some more tanks :(:D

Hope you may like it... bad idea to take a photo from a black/grey tank on a grey/black background - always remember this lol

I had tried to take photo on a yellow background... did not work very well but the freehand can be seen better i guess:

beautiful colouring and weathering - I really love it. The chips/markings look very authentic.
My only criticism is the placement of the freehand and the fact it faces backwards. Would it not make more aesthetic sense to have it facing forwards, to the model can be viewed from the front in it\'s best light? Obviously it\'s too late now, but was it your choice or the customers?
I know my slaanesh rhino I did wouldn\'t have had the same impact if I had have done the face facing the rear of the model.

Compared to the other stuff you post, it´s clear that this is more \"rushed\".

Having said that I still think they look really really good. It´s a striking colourscheme with some nice freehand, and good weathering - which always help to make a model look more \"pro\":p.

All in all it is really excellent when considering that this is a commision job for tabletop gaming-models.

Thanks guys... in fact i can\'t see anymore gold for a couple of years i guess...

Finished up a Landraider and 12 Marines and 4 Terminators... and i am sick of gold, did i mention this already?

Was not in the mood to make good pictures, just took them in my cabinet... still got one rhino left til tomorrow afternoon... wow, i am happy lol

Nope, never had used oils before so i didn\'t on these tanks... i am thinking bout it for a while now and have some friends testing around... maybe next time, if i ever will do a tank again (except for this last rhino^^)...

The last Rhino for the gaming table finished... now i\'ll do a little break from painting ...

Very nice, though I\'m not sure if I dig the messy gold style you\'ve done on the metals.

Still really nice though =]
