Looks pretty good! Everything is nice and neat, and the freehand looks cool. The photo is a little compressed though, I would like to see a bit more. I voted an 8.

I really like this actually, he looks very authorititave, as if commanding his army. I like the colourscheme, red white and black always works well (as proven by Nazi psychologists). One little point to improve would be the freehand on the back of his cape, there are a couple of area that might have benefited from having been neatened up. Nice model, well done.

Cheers,
Tom

nice work, weldone paintjob with a lot of little cool details, only thing I don\'t like is the blue sword - doesn\'t really fit colorwise

Black is a tough color.... I think that the freehand needs to be tighted up for it to really work on this piece.

I am actually picking nits here, but that seems to be what you are looking for. these are all details, as I have no major issue with the mini.
- the freehand on the banner is not up to par with the freehand on the cloak.
-I agree that black is tough. I have been working on some templar bikers and did a wash of adeptus battlegrey (GW foundation paint) for weathering. It works well.
- The powersword is chained to him. The bolt pistol is not. (told you it was picking nits)
- the wing on the right side of the aquila is a little gloppy. Some detail work in the feathers would clean that up, two minute fix.
- the transition between the bleached bone and the shade color on the tabard is a tad harsh, maybe blend a bit.
- the back of the banner could use some highlighting. Maybe some more freehand work?

Well I have been a nit-picker enough. Its a solid piece. Keep up the great work!
