From the whole structure down to the smallest details. What an impressive and inspiering work! Thanks for sharing.
Your paintwork really brings out the features of your work, it is a shame that you don't do it more often.
I seem to recall you also finishing your "truescale" Thunderhawk (ie. the one that could actually carry a Land Raider) and that you stopped short of painting it...
I love coming on to this thread and seeing more progress. It's very inspiring, and has had me thinking about constructing some machines of my own. Alas, I really don't have the time for those kind of projects now, but always a future prospect. I'm assuming you sculpted the tech priests from scratch, or did you use other minis as dollies and sculpt onto them?
Really?
I'm pretty sure I posted painted images of the Thunderhawk. I'll have to check.
I dunno, it looks kinda painted to me.
Not sure if you noticed, but it looks like there is a partial version of the buttress attached to the body with the "walkway" going down to the flying buttresses. So if you didn't already make those you might need to make those four partial ones as well. But all I can say is total respect for building this beast off of a picture that isn't to scale and with all the "atmosphere" in the original art work.
