Blacklining Galadhrim

heyall, I've seen in the War of the Ring battlehosts book a pic of a Galadhrim archer with silver armor, and white cloaks.

I noticed also, that they have very distinctive black lines between the armor scales, is this simply black paint lined in there?

Black paint lined in, or a few washes of Badab black with highlights painted over the scale, but leaving the wash dark in the crevasses will work for that.

I would bet that Mercius is correct.
