blending practice

:flip:good news, i think ive fiannaly cracked blending using glazes:flip:
the problem tat i wasnt decreasing my painting area evry 3 or 4 layers, so i would get 1 solid colour. know my plan is tog et something flat, or smooth at least, like an eldar warp pack to practice the blending on. is this a good idea or will it give me unrealistic impresions of what to do?

Large skin areas is the best practice imo.
