About the marine,
I think if you remove the freehand then the figure would rate a 7-8. The red armour looks pretty flat and the pic doesn\'t show a lot of detail and is a bit dark.
Fortunately you seem to be a whizz with freehand and the close ups of that show well and lifts this figure well above an 8 for me.I gave you 10 just for the cape alone.
I think the rating will settle about 8.5 to 9 though.

Yes welcome from me too. I also have voted and commented, I like the red and think personally that it is fine as it is but then peoples taste differs. I like the metalics maybe a little more highlight on them would make them stand out a bit better. The freehand is great and for me is what makes this mini score a 9. I also like the base very much.

As has already been said, amazing work on the freehand. The suggestion to put the samples of the freehand either by the figure laterally or as an inset next to the larger view would probably help out too.
