Blood base step by step

Was asked to make a step by step tutorial for my blood bases so here it is.

1. you will need a big ol brush (this one is size 2), some kind of sculpting tool or knife, Water effects, Blood for the blood god, some kind of red paint, some kind of black wash, and white paint.

2. paint your rock and then paint the base red, water effects drys clear and the blood for the blood god paint is a little see through.

3. Throw some Water effects on your base.

4. use your knife to make some peaks in the water effects.

5. Let the water effects dry and then paint with blood for the blood god, your blood base is now done.

you can also use water effects to make waves or flowing water

Oooh, this is actually pretty damn cool. I may have to make a blood waterfall of sorts on a future display base, and it seems this may do the trick. So this water effects stuff. How clear does it dry? Basically, how would you use it normally?What do most people use it for?
