Vegans (read: the interfering jumped up ones who claim to know what they\'re on about) crack me up with this: most of them supplement their diet with vitamin tablets (those that don\'t simply wither and perish gradually), now, you find a multivitamin or infact any tablet which does not contain lactose in it\'s coating. Lactose being taken from the milk of any mammal.
I only know this because my daughter is highly lactose intolerant and to give her even the smallest amount could quite likely kill her.
So, I wonder how many vegans are on the pill, take pills for headaches, take supplements etc etc

My boss quite literally calls meat \"poison.\"
One day I sat down and thought... aren\'t almost 100% of the worlds poisons derived from plants and any meat that is poisonous is either due to a plant poison being introduced, poor cooking temperature (thus introducing a bacteria), or being left to spoil (which means generally growing bacteria)?
Are there any real known poisons derived from meat? ???
And as for his health: he\'s overweight, pale and sickly looking, and he used to eat meat until he had a heart attack. I\'d hate to see his cholesteral level. lol

Personally, I hate Christmas. But you hit it on the head. That\'s why I don\'t buy into the PC BS. It\'s getting where you can\'t sneeze before someone is getting offended.

I just thought of one think.

A few months ago a guy on TMP made a big stick, and told a big lie about an interaction between a Priveteer Press employee and his over zealous ultra sensitive wife. Not only did the snafu make them look really bad, but I know a lot of people (including myself) who went out and bought Warmachine stuff afteerwards. Now if we can just get someone to get angry at Dark Age.lol

Now I haven\'t read all the posts so forgive me if this has already been said.
Anyway, here in the UK we were actually told to take Union Jacks down from windows during the World Cup. It offended the minorities. Now before you start i am NOT racist, but this is our country, you know England, so we should be alowed to fly our own Fu***ng flag!
If the minority do not like it go and live in a country that flies the flag they are happy with.
BTW I had one in my car and kept it there even when I was asked to remove it, by a minorty policeman. I asked where in the highway code it stated I couldn\'t have a flag in my back window. He told me it obstructed my view out of the back of the vehicle. I then pointed out that vehicles in this country do not have to have a back window, if they dont then they have to have working wing mirrors, which mine were. So it stayed

Now that IS silly. One should be able to fly one\'s flag, especially in the country that claims that flag. The real solution would have been to prohibit sports organizations from using the nation\'s flag to represent the team.
It\'s even worse with us Germans. Two examples for you:
1. Our vacation to Malta. Our class had a \"study vacation\" in Malta (aka drinking beer and listening to rock all the night). A friend of mine put a small German flag on a wall in his room. It was even visible from the outside.
The hotel cleaning crew actually took down the flag and when asked where it was answered that \"Nationalism is not wanted here\". Our supervisors(=teachers) told us that \"We had it coming\".
2. When Greece won... what do I know, some football event, don\'t know what and don\'t care, several Greeks in our neighbourhood got drunk on Ouzo and drove around, waving the Greek flag and generally endangering everyone\'s life by not stopping at the red lights and going what looked like about 100 in a 30 zone.
Anyway, they vandalized a car that had a sticker (!) with the German flag with \"Germany\" written beside it on the lower part of the license plate holder. They scratched \"Scheiss Nazi\" (Fucking Nazi) into the side, slashed the tires and some more. (After all, I suppose it was them - they were the ones shouting, laughing and screaming after all. Heard it in my room...)
Beside that car, another car with \"TÜRKIYE\" and a crescent etched into the back window stayed completely unharmed.
There\'s no governmental issue with that really, it\'s just stupid, ignorant people.....

Not forgetting that blackboards had to be referred to as chalkboards until they were replaced by whiteboards which then had to be referred to as wipeboards.
But I think the most ridiculous thing was when brainstorming had to be referred to as mindstorming so as not to infer that non-contributors didn\'t have a brain ???
