I got some painting gear again to get back in the groove this New Year (all started with Laryngitis and a need to entertain myself).

I also bought a few Ratling Snipers and a couple of Space Marine Veterans.

I started painting today and forgot how much I hated it! lol

I got a Ratling underway and managed some nice effects on the little lad, but holding a brush for the first time in about 6 months led only to frustration. I can salvage the piece I reckon but it\'ll be a bit of a turn-around to manage it. I\'ve got a nice scheme in my head for the veteran though, so that may be the best place to (re)start. I\'ve just got to find the patience again.

Anyway, here\'s to another six days of painting whilst I recover (the lovely GP gave me a week off work because my voice keeps migrating - what a sweet girl! I never even asked!)

No excuse :D £40 in tesco for a digital camera with a macro mode on it portrait wise it looks good I haven\'t tried the macro mode yet, no cable release but it does have a timer choice of 5 or 10 seconds plus a hole for the tripod to connect. Come on Rev you knew yourself it wouldn\'t be long before you got out of the no painting lull/depression :Dlollol

Edit: It\'s also a 5 mega pixel with digital zoom and built in memory which can be ssupplemented by an additional card :D What more can you ask for £40 ???

Didn\'t I say you\'d be back when you announced you were quitting?

Good to hear you\'re back, though.
We\'ll find a way to get a camera to you so we can see what you\'re doing. Even if it has to be with a telephoto lens from the house across the street.

We already have one set up over there, just to keep an eye on him. Just a matter of getting him to move the mini into the right position. :D

if you lived in the US, you could just act a bit shady, then in a bit ask George W. for those unwarented high resolution surveilence photos of what you\'re up to :D

Bloody hell.. thats good to hear.. even Im getting more done. Im even pushing myself to learn NMM and Im a die hard metallics fan..

Must be some sort of sign of the Apocalypse lol

I had a really bad day today. everything just seemed to go wrong... and I came up with an explanation!

You know it is, or could be depending on how you write it, 060106 today (or was yesterday for some of you ;)) which means 616 which means the devils number.. according to some theologians.

So the big trouble I have now proving my thesis, is how the guy with the trident write dates...

I thought that 666 was the number of the beast..so you have 6 months yet befor DOOM sets in on us all D-Day to be exact...
