Just go there and check for yourselves this man's work!!
Okay so here is a very easy laments terms blood splotch effect. You'll need some things View attachment 45764heres what the pallete looks like I'm labeling these wells from a clockwise movement. First using GWs technical paint "blood for the blood god" I mixed 50/50 of this and agrax earth shade.to the right of that is BFTBG on its own not thinned at all. Just below that is BFTBG with a dot very little of reaper pure black. Any black will do. Then the last as we move to the bottom left is a Lil more black added to BFTBG this time thinned with glaze medium 1:1. This above pic shows what the pallete of wells look like. And th below shows the consistency of each dabbed on.View attachment 45765 I start out laying each one of the mixtures down in various was 1) dabbed and then dabbing my finger down on it to blend it on the at the seams. This particular step works well on cloth like the pirate. Then I will use the black mix with the BFTBG to lay uneven random spots or puddles on its own (on cloth I would lay this darker mix in the middle of the agrax earth shade - as it shows a point if contact and on lothh has the effect if "bleeding out" just random ways of each on diff parts of your area you want it. The black mix shows older blood. The black mix on the center of the thinned agrax mix show a contact point bleeding out. Then ill apply some very little spatter with a sponge. After that its scratches -but be mindful to show blood trickling on them and on some of the blood puddles.

Obviously getting the proper effects -the puddles ,the pooling, the bleeding out, and positioning has took me a course if two years. It again comes with practice.
Another note if you notice his left(my left ) my left you'll see his nose has bled THIS IS A KIND OF PLACE I'VE USED THE BFTBG by itself as a nose bleed is more likely to have a fresh stream of blood as opposed to a scratch 5 days ago. Use your imagination and practice practice practice. These are harsh pics so you get the idea. Good luck and if still unclear ask me a direct question and ill get it sorted by pm(ing) you.![]()
