Body clocks

I was on earlies last week and would get up around about 5.20-5.30am to get to work at 7am. I work six then have three off. Today\'s my third day off, but even after those days off I still got up for a pee this morning at - wait for it - 5.23am. What\'s more, Shel (my lady) checked the time on the mobile phone this morning and the alarm went off for her to get up for work at the same time. These bodies of ours are having a laugh...

Nightmare.
I\'m normally up at 06:30 but some mornings I think I\'ll go in a bit later, turn the alarm off the night before and have a cheeky lie in. Guess what? Yep, no matter what time I go to bed the night before, I still wake up at 06:30! Even on a weekend when I go to bed at two-ish, I still bloody wake up at 06:30!
I\'m in the States next week. Let\'s see what that does to the old body clock...

Logan lad, you\'re doomed!

@Tim - it\'s the same here in that I could take or leave it but it bugs the hell out of me if I don\'t go. Nightmare!

P.S., the main reason for this thread is time-wasting before the GD pics get posted. I can barely wait!

I\'ve been adjusting my workday wake up depending on the conditions, in part to a flexible work schedule and the need to no longer have 8 AM meetings with the people in India. I generally go for 6:15 AM, but will move it back to 6:00 AM if I have things I need to do early in the evening, or 6:30 AM if I just need a little more sleep.

I got up at 5:00 AM today (and again at 5:30 AM) but was easily able to get back to sleep.

That sounds like a decent routine Tzor. I envy you. I\'m an early bird but I do shifts so i have to do later starts pretty often. I don\'t like it.

Cross referencing the bible with the numbers....

Genesis 5:23 - And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years

Genesis 12:23 - (does not exist)

Exodus 5:23 - For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in thy name, he hath done evil to this people; neither hast thou delivered thy people at all.

Exodus 12:23 - For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

I could go on, but that would take more time than I want to spend. :)

Hmm, Come to think of it. I have set my alarm to 5.30, but I always wake up shortly before he goes on. Perhaps I also wake up at 5:23?
Have to check that out tomorrow.
