I'm spending Easter with my folks (near Bolton in the UK) and was wondering if there are any good mini stores in the area. It's been a few years since I was last here....

Other than GW Bolton, Not really.
There is a store in Manchester just off Picadillay Gardens called Fanboy Three, has some good stuff BUT their supply is limited.

Many thanks. Much as I like GW's stuff, at my age it is the independent stores that fire my imagination (probably I'm just too grumpy to be around the kids in the GW stores - it just depresses me when the staff don't know what a fimir was).

Still I haven't tried Fanboy 3 before, so I'll give it a shot whilst I am in town.
