I know it\'s not to everyones taste (the radio series was so surreal that, imo, they had trouble translating it to TV). But I love it. Dunno why it\'s UK only - I can\'t see why they stop non UKers downloading it.

Also, if you liked that, you might want to check out \"Armando Iannuci\" on BBC radio 7 listen again (near the bottom of the friday page). Unfortunately it\'s the final episode of the re-run, but it\'s worth catching.

Ah yes, The Mighty Boosh is a most excellent show and the second series looks to be as good as the first.

I didn’t really get into it when I saw the first episode on TV (and I’ve still not got round to checking out the radio stuff) but my brother loved it and made me watch another. About five minutes into the second episode I had embraced the oddness and discovered the utter genius that lay beneath. Favourite bits of the first series were the spirit of Jazz with his burning hat and the inspired madness that goes on in the Jungle House as Howard and Vince set out to find Tommy Nooka (“You have passed the test” and the most ridiculous and disturbingly funny suicide ever!).

I didn’t think the musical number was that great in this one, which was a bit of a downer. The method of delivery for Cheekbone magazine, the tale of the demise of Bolo’s brother and the moon’s speeches more than made up for it.

Yaaaay, the Boosh is back! And my brother said he couldn’t imagine me enjoying it now I’m off the wacky baccy.

Yeah, some of the musical bits aren\'t always that great. Unfortunately I couldn\'t appreciate this episode to the fullest because of my slow connection, but I\'ll be tuning in when it\'s on TV.

munkie - you should look out for repeats of Iannuci - the first episode was the best imo (the \"fight of my life\" was great).

ps jambot, congratulations on kicking the habit. I smoked the evil weed for several years, sometimes on a daily basis. I gave up 2 yrs ago when I realised how depressed it makes me, and have never looked back. Unfortunately I get a lot less painting done these days, but it\'s a price worth paying.

Ah yes, Big Train was beautiful. Portatchio, Ming the Merciless enjoying Tellytubbies, Chairman Mao\'s deathbed singing, the wanabee firemen, the caricature that completely breaks the boss emotionally, the assassination of the duck, the French movie parodies, changing The Ritz to The Titz and of course the World Stare Out Championship.

The first series is the finest comedy ever created in my humble opinion. Unfortunately unless you actually sit someone down and get them to watch it it’s impossible to properly convey the sheer brilliance of it.

The DVD set is awesome too so if you haven’t seen it go out and buy it! Series One of The Mighty Boosh is out on 12th September too. Happy, happy, joy, joy!

I loved the Mighty Boosh, took a few goes to get into but it was worth it. The guy who played Dixon Bainbridge was in Darkplace as Dr Lucien Sanchez and that rocked.
