Basically, the deadline is the end of the month and, as far as I am aware, no one has posted anything yet, but watch this space...:D

yah i did that then searched for the \"va marine\"
the missus had to remind me what month it was.
paint fumes getting to me.
i would have thought there would be many examples of excellent marines here already. mayby people trying for oringinality might be able to do something new though.
a quick search reveals only daggy space crusade marines in the bit box. do i get extra for giving everyone a headstart?

You could always try...

Your can always try pleading your case when you post your model...Some might give you a sympathy vote, others might knock one off....:D

Wish I had an excuse that good, mind you...the way things are going we could be working with an extremely limited field..;)

woot! I\'m in! My parental units just purchased a fine digital camera, so now I can enter, I have to find a marine quick!

Just make sure you check through the thread for the \'rules\' ...no librarian terminators etc!!;)
Of course, you can paint what you want but the others, if there are any others, will knock points off...

You know, Finn, this could be the most successfully unsuccessful contest ever! I for one start in my new position tomorrow... I doubt I\'ll be able to do anything... I may try, though!

Fame at last...

Well, those who have been around a while may remember that this wasn\'t even my idea in the first place..I simply agreed to \'moderate\'. I wont be offended in the slightest if no-one enters, in fact I will be slightly relieved because when everyone was feeling really enthusiastic, I thought I may have bitten off more than I could chew.

Hey ho...we shall see....:D

I have just the base colors down with no highlighting or shading and some sloppy lines. At this rate maybe I\'ll have to enter it that way. Call it a wip.
Oh, and can I enter 2? I have a great color scheme in mind for the second one....lol

I\'m working on mine...will he be done by tomorrow? I dunno. Doubtful. End of the week? Certainly. I\'ll post him when he\'s done one way or the other. :)

that freehand is great, and am I right in thinking it is a spacemarine reaching back? nice touch!
