This was my entry for the WAMP Wyrd competition, and also for the Sheffield Irregulars March painting challenge.
I had a lot of fun painting him, this was my first Wyrd mini - thanks to Matty for sending it to me earlier this year

I only had black primer, so I decided to paint over this with chainmail - like I did for my big fex. I then used a very limited palette of blue and green with a very dark brown and some black for the model, with some orangy-brown to contrast a bit on the mechanical spider.

The base is from Black cat bases.

This one took me about 12 hours, it was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed his one. Will probably paint some more Wyrd minis in the future.

All C&C appreciated. :D
Cheers
Boris

Well you know I am a fan of it. The OSL is very eye grabbing and cool. I can\'t check out the link here, so I\'ll have to wait and vote at home. If it wasn\'t for the pin issue at the foot I think this would have placed. Be very proud, it\'s a super cool piece. Lot\'s of fun Wyrd stuff to paint, and maybe we can have a duel over on WAMP one day!

well you should be able to paint some more minis now you have some vouchers???

This was so close to first place.. The only hing that stopped it was on certain angles the OSL is thrown off a little making it difficult to decide what is painted light and what is the photo lights.. Definitely a suiting style for the Wyrd world of Malifaux so really do hopeto see you do some more wyrd minis....
