Boris the Evil Fighter.. and some help!

I spent about 3-4 hours taking pics..trying different settings..and the pictures always come out a little out of focus..as in not sharp and crisp enough.. Please help me ownz my LeeT camera!!

aperture=8.0 (highest it will go)
daylight setting
figure is about 8\" away.. no zoom when in macro
sharpness=normal
contrast=normal

First of all, it\'s: L337

And secondly - the photos look fine to me.
I like the figure too - thought I would\'ve picked up the highlights on the red a bit more.

with a bit of exploring, I think I see what you mean. The head in the top pic is not very sharp.

1. Autofocus issue? (depends on camera - look for focus modes)
2. Depth of Field issue? (do you have shutter speed settings? Try 1 second)
3. Dirty lense? (I see spots on the background right above his head - could be the background or the lens - get a good lens brush/tool and take care of the optics.)
